The Avignon Festival is the most significant theatre and live performance event in France, and one of the most significant in the world in terms of the number of new works and spectators gathered. Cross the Rhône and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of these three festive weeks.
Take bus line 5, destination “Palais de Justice / Limbert”, from the Tourist Office stop, located 5 minutes walk from the hotel: get there. Get off at the “Porte de l’Oulle” stop, and you are at the foot of the Avignon Ramparts.
Walking is the best way to get around within the walls during the Festival.
However, feel free to take the electric shuttle, Baladine, which takes you from one point to another according to your desires, for 50 cents per person. Open during the day, and covered with a small canvas at nightfall, it will help you spot street performances to enjoy!
