Remarkable Villages

At the foot of the notch carved into the Luberon by the Aiguebrun, in a landscape of vineyards and olive trees, Lourmarin was born. Its streets, lined with fountains, wind around the Castellas and a charming Romanesque church, leading to the magnificent castle. Built in the 15th century by the Agoult family, it now houses a rich collection of furniture and art objects and is a listed historical monument. The people of Lourmarin are very proud! A village of artists, Lourmarin seduced, among others, Henri Bosco and Albert Camus, who rest in the small cemetery.

In Vaucluse, at the foot of the famous Dentelles de Montmirail massif, this village with a preserved medieval aspect is often compared to a life-sized nativity scene!
